Jeeping Wild Horse Road and Coal Mine Road

Blog, Off-Road-Trails

South Central Utah offers some of the most intense and unique landscapes in the World. This high-desert region sees extreme temperatures and has left this area with an “out of this world” looking landscape. Seriously looks like you’re on the moon or Mars.

Located between Caineville and Hanksville and just East of Swing Arm City (totally worth checking out), is our trail head, Coal Mine Rd. The road is unpaved and skirts just East of the Factory Butte (also worth checking out). This trail makes for a great day trip.

Campsite

Though it’s not a developed camping area with tables and fire pits, it is a designated camping location.

Ding and Dang Slot Canyon

This hiking trail head is a popular spot and a great landmark to make sure you’re on the correct trail.

This is where the dirt road meets the pavement. Smooth riding from here on…
