Rocky Canyon
This narrow trail can be used to access the trails in the Idaho City area and the iconic Boise Ridge trail. It is a graded dirt road with some washouts that make the trail somewhat difficult. It’s beautiful and a wonderful way to start out a day of adventuring because it leads you right to more trails.

Boise Ridge
Boise Ridge is a short 30 minutes east of Boise. This trail is famous for its scenery. It follows the main ridge southward and showcases the stunning Boise National Forest beauty at its finest. There are many spurs off of the trail that offer remote camping and a place to truly escape into nature. There are no obstacles on this trail, so it is accessible to all vehicles. 

Middle Fork Road
Spanning about 23 miles, Middle Fork Road is open year round and has many many features that add to its appeal. Including natural hot springs, a charming river, cascading waterfalls, historic mining relics, ancient rock formations, and a gorgeous lake. There are 80 natural hot springs along the Middle Fork River. Middle Fork is a beautiful adventure, with the occasional washboard and pot hole to keep you on your toes.
