The Jeep Badge of Honor program recognizes and rewards Jeep enthusiasts for conquering some of the most challenging off-roading trails in the United States. These trails are known for their intensity and are highly sought after by off-roading enthusiasts. Here are some of the most intense trails recognized by the program:

Rubicon Trail (California)
The Super Bowl of off-road trails. An adventure you can’t miss. It got its name because it crosses the Rubicon River near Lake Tahoe, but the name has since become a mark of pride for off-roaders. Completing this trail is a badge of honor that you’ll be showing off for years. The Rubicon will push you and your vehicle to the limit. Be prepared for an intense ride that will test every skill you’ve got.

Black Bear Pass (Colorado)
When the trail begins on a road called the “Million Dollar Highway” you know it’s gonna be good. It starts with an ascent that may leave your vehicle with expensive scars if you’re not careful (hence the highway’s title). After its climb uphill, the trail descends into Telluride, and the scenery shifts. This half of the trail features steep, narrow switchbacks and challenging obstacles. It’s not for the faint of heart.

Hell’s Revenge (Utah)
Make Hell your playground in Moab, Utah, and prove you’ve got what it takes to survive the heat. Hell’s Revenge is a roller-coaster of slickrock, steep inclines, and descents, and numerous technical obstacles. It’s a favorite for Jeep enthusiasts seeking a thrilling and challenging ride. After completing this trail you can officially say you’ve spit in Hell’s face.

Holy Cross Trail (Colorado)
At the start of the trailhead, several requirements are listed; including 33” or larger tires, locking differentials, a winch, and repair equipment. This is your first sign that this trail is intense. Holy Cross City is a fierce challenge that will test your competence. The rock crawling is extreme, the obstacles are demanding, and the adventure is magnificent. It’s no surprise that Holy Cross City is popular.

Please note that trail conditions and rankings may change over time, and new trails may be added to the Jeep Badge of Honor program. Always check the latest information and trail ratings through the official Jeep Badge of Honor website or app before embarking on your off-roading adventure.
